Corporate Sustainability Manager

Allen & York are working exclusively for our client and are seeking a thought leader in corporate sustainability strategy for what is a fantastic career opportunity. Our client works at the cutting edge of corporate sustainability advising major corporations in the UK and internationally on transformative programmes. Their work combines business strategy, brand, communications and embeds sustainability into the heart of all that they do. This is more than a sustainability role and puts the incumbent at the heart of all that is happening in CR. More than that we are looking for someone who is used to shaping the agenda. You will work closely with our clients senior management and sit on the internal management team, this role offers unlimited potential in what we believe to be a most exciting of organisations at the cusp of dynamic growth. You will stay abreast of merging trends, mega trends, be able to see the synergies and work with others in brand and communications capacities to create first class consulting at the highest level. You will manage a team of first class individuals who are keen to learn, input and be developed. They will challenge you and you will need to have shown in your career so far, an ability to harness talent and allow it grow. We are looking for a facilitator, an enabler and a deeply people person. Candidates will have worked with clients on achieving sustainability goals, you will be comfortable working with boards and executives and be able to communicate complex ideas in an appropriate fashion. Your subject knowledge is important but we are seeking a team manager and client led individual who sees the big picture and can facilitate the delivery process.
